NRIStudents is a safe, inclusive space for Indian students abroad. These guidelines ensure everyone has a positive experience.

1. Be Respectful

Treat everyone with respect. No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks. We welcome students from all backgrounds, religions, and regions of India.

2. No Spam or Self-Promotion

Don't post repetitive content, unsolicited ads, or promotional material. Businesses must use the official business directory. Community posts should be helpful and relevant.

3. Verified Information Only

Share accurate information. Don't spread rumors about universities, immigration policies, or services. When unsure, mention that it's your personal experience, not official advice.

4. Housing & Marketplace Rules

• Only post genuine listings you have authority to offer.
• Include accurate pricing, location, and photos.
• Never ask for deposits before meeting in person.
• Report suspicious listings immediately.

5. Privacy & Safety

Don't share others' personal information without consent. Don't post screenshots of private messages. Report any suspicious activity or potential scams.

6. No Illegal Content

Don't post content related to illegal activities, fraudulent documents, unauthorized work, or anything that violates local laws.

7. Consequences

Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
