About Trinity College Dublin
Trinity College Dublin was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I, modeled after the colleges of Oxford and Cambridge. It is Ireland's oldest surviving university and has been the alma mater of numerous literary giants including Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett (Nobel laureate), and Jonathan Swift.
